Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process for M. C. L. & I. T. Ist Semester to IVth Semester (2 Year) (Credit Based System)
Eligibility:
1. A graduate in any discipline of any UGC recognised University can take admission in this course.
2. Students who have completed one year P. G. Diploma in Cyber Law and Information Technology with 50% of marks from any recognized University are eligible to take admission into Third Semester of the M. C. L. & I. T. programe directly subject to absorption scheme provided by the Gondwana University for admission.
Admission Process:
1. Issue of Admission Forms : From 1st June.
2. Admission up to first Monday of August or any date fixed by Gondwana University and 15 days period from the declaration of result of law examinations of Gondwana University.
3. Admission will be made by the Admission Committee and with due approval from the Principal.
4. Approved Admission forms will be accepted for admission along with fees mentioned in fees schedule during office hours.
5. Admission form is available on website which can be downloaded. However, while submitting the application form the candidate is expected to enclose DD for Rs. 250/- drawn in favor of the Principal, S. P. College of Law, Chandrapur towards the cost of Prospectus, Application Form and Perspective of the College. The Prospectus & Perspectives can be collected from the office later.
6. Office working hours - 10.00 am to 5.30 pm.
Documents required for admission to M. C. L. & I. T. Ist Semester (2 Year)
1. Original School/College Leaving Certificate. (School/College last attended)
2. Photocopies of Marklist of Qualifying Examination / Previous years.
3. Caste Certificate (Attested true copy)
4. Validity Certificate (Attested true copy)
5. Domicile Certificate (Attested true copy)
6. Two Passport size photographs.
7. Eligibility Certificate and Migration Certificate for students belonging to other Universities.
8. Examination form duly filled along with copies of mark sheets of qualifying exams.
9. Two self addressed envelopes.
Admission and Promotion Rules for M. C. L. & I. T. 2 Year Course
(a) For Promotion to SECOND Semester : A student admitted to the FIRST semester and appeared for atleast one theory paper in the FIRST semester, shall be allowed to be promoted to the SECOND semester
(b) For Promotion to THIRD Semester : The student should have passed in atleast 40% of the Papers/subjects/courses of the First Semester and atleast 40% papers of the second semester shall be allowed to be promoted to THIRD Semester.
(c) For Promotion to FOURTH Semester : A student admitted to the THIRD semester and who appeared for atleast one theory paper in the THIRD Semester shall be allowed to be promoted to the FOURTH semester.
