Promotion of Research has been the key component of the academic agenda of the college and the college. Adequate numbers of recognized Ph.D. guides are available at Centre for Higher Leaning and Research of the college and several students have been registered for Ph.D. at the centre. Ten faculty members are awarded Ph.D. degree, while the rest are pursuing research in their respective disciplines.
The Principal and one Senior Faculty Member are nominated to Research and Recognition Committee as well as Board of University Research of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. The college published several books on varied legal themes and has been publishing annual ISSN numbered Peer reviewed Journal.
Four of our faculty members have been recognized as research supervisors in Law and are actively guiding Ph.D. scholars. Four others are recognized as approved research supervisors in social sciences and in physical education. As many as 10 students obtained Ph.D. in Law under the guidance of our former Principal and many students have been registered for Ph.D. under the guidance of other faculty members.

Law Review’, which consists of the papers authored by the faculty members, students as well as by the eminent academicians.
The college established a research and publication center under the name of ‘SPARC’ for encouraging research activities and publication of articles and research papers.

The survey undertaken by Dr. I. J. Rao, HoD, P.G.T. D. and Dr. A. U. Shaikh on Bio Medical Waste Management Scenario in Chandrapur city threw light on the existing practices and procedures in disposal and handling of bio medical waste in health care institutions of Chandrapur city and the problems, .shortcomings and lacunae. It helps in creating awareness about bio-medical waste management rules framed by the Government of India amongst health personnel.
Several surveys conducted by LL.M students on various socio-legal problems and the legal response to address these problems, resulted in analysis of awareness and attitude of the public towards social legislations and their implementation.
The college has been publishing annual college Magazine “Smruti” with the articles, stories, poetry contributed by the students.
